While physical armor is profitable in many circumstances, the armor of God protects from a far greater demise- that is spiritual destruction resulting in ultimate separation from God. By His grace, we can stand firm against the attacks of the enemy. Submitting to the Lordship of Christ WILL look countercultural, and even antagonistic to many, but be encouraged by His victory and His love which empowers us to do all of these things in faith.
